Granoss Multi Millet Roti Flour
In a research article by Indian Journal of Nutrition Volume 1, Issue 1 - 2014 a blend of different millets was attempted to get a nutritionally superior product. The aim was to develop an extruded ready-to-eat snack using response surface methodology.
The aim was to achieve a product with optimum extrusion in terms of expansion ratio and a best flour blend to have better digestibility and overall sensory acceptance of the product. The composition we have brought for you gives you the best nutritional strength.

MILLET CONSUMPTION DECREASES TRIGLYCERIDES AND CREACTIVE PROTEIN
Scientist in Seoul, South Korea , fed a high fax diet to rats for 8 weeks to induce hyperlipidemia , then randomly divided into four diet groups. At the end of the study, triglycerides were significantly lower in foxtail & proso millet and levels of C-reactive protein were lowest in the foxtail millet group. Use this Roti Mix in the place of Wheat Flour to make delicious and nutritious Roti, Chapatti, Puri and Paratha etc. To make softer Roti, use hot water while preparing the dough.
- Wash well with water and drain
- Take 1 cup of Granoss Multi Millet Roti flour in a bowl.
- Take 1/2 cup of flax seed powder, soak it in 1 cup of water and leave aside for 15 mins.
- Mix the Granoss Multi millet roti flour, the flax seed paste, a little salt (as per taste), and water as required and knead it into a soft dough.
- Keep aside covered for 20 mins.
- Divide the dough into small portions and roll out into rotis or pooris as desired.
- Roast the rotis on a pan or deep fry the pooris.
Serve the hot Rotis / Pooris with side curry (Daal/curd/Curries/Chutney/etc.) and enjoy
